Share Logistics Air & Ocean, based in Barendrecht, supports companies with international logistics. They handle sea and air freight, storage and transhipment, customs, and supply chain management. In addition, Share Logistics provides specialised solutions for, among other things, refrigerated cargo and project cargo. Thanks to its location close to the port of Rotterdam, the company can operate quickly and efficiently worldwide.

 

The Challenge

Previously, Share Logistics worked with an outdated system that began to hinder growth and international collaboration. The organisation needed a modern online platform that is always available, scalable for future expansion, and suitable for global use.

 

The solution

Share Logistics selected Vasilok to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central . Within this project, all financial processes were successfully integrated into Business Central, creating a solid digital foundation for further professionalization and international expansion. 

 

The collaboration

The collaboration was excellent. During the go-live, a consultant was on-site daily, ensuring short lines of communication and rapid response. Clear communication and agreements ensured the project ran smoothly. 

 

The role of the consultant

Khalid acted as a functional consultant. He set up the new companies, managed the data migration, and implemented the financial processes in accordance with the agreed-upon guidelines. Khalid also provided user training and supported key users with advice. 

 

The result

After the project, Share Logistics will have a user-friendly and versatile system that offers extensive capabilities in all areas. The financial administration will be better structured, and the organization will be able to rely on a future-proof solution.

The Future

The next step could be the implementation of a module for digital expense processing with Continia Expense Management. This would make it possible to handle claims even more efficiently within Business Central.
